Not sure where to put this - if I wanted it in the Maintenance section or not - let me know if you think it should be elsewhere.

Well, YEAH! You can still lose weight while on Maintenance!!! After week one, I lost three pounds; this week (week 2) I have lost 1.2 lbs...

My friend Crystal lost 2 lbs during week 1, and gained a few on week 2 (which is why our restrictions don't change during week 3).

No new foods this week... but hey, I'll take the loss since I am trying to lose the last 5 lbs!!!

I am going to Calgary this weekend so I hope my mom has Dr. B friendly food or I will have to (not try and insult her) buy groceries.  Mind you, none of my family have seen me since I started so apparently it may be a shock and my food issues may be accepted.

For me, the best part of losing weight is seeing people that haven't seen you since before you lost it.  I lost 60 pounds once and when I saw folks I hadn't seen in awhile they were like "what did you do?!?!?!".  Of course I later gained back 120...  That "gaining back" part isn't recommended by the way...   :(

I think we should have all the "weigh in" topics here for now.  If it becomes a problem I'll make a separate "Weigh Ins" category.

I renamed this topic "Week of 8/21/2006 Maintenance Weigh Ins" since you maintenance folks only weigh in once a week and various people undoubtedly go on various days.

That's true - it should be a big weekend. Thanks for renaming the topic. I appreciate it.
