Well, just started Dr. Bernstein on Monday. Lost a few pounds but feeling a little overwhelmed with how far I have to go. I will try to take it day at a time. They told me I have no keytones yet and should not eat fruit for a day or two but can have three ft jello instead. It would be nice to hear from some other people getting started on this journey.

Hi! Seems like a ghost town here!! Oh well finding it interesting reading the old posts. I'm back for the second time around for a tune up! Forgot how hard it is to get back into it!! Been on the diet for 9 days and down 11 lbs .......can't argue with the results of this plan if you stay strict! You're right one day at a time.......you've got this!

Hi Tinker,

I am also here for a second time but need more than a tune up. I also think that it is more of a struggle. However, I know that this diet can work from experience. I did keep it off for some time but now I have to devise ways to get through more significant events rather than emotional eating. I did read something in Bernstein that I didn't notice before.....instead of saying "I can't eat that" say "I don't eat that". I tried this and it seems to work better and is more self empowering.

Nice to see some active Betnsteiners. Hopefully we can all make it through to goal. This is not my second time. Probably my 7th or 8th. I haven't made goal yet but I'm trying and I know this works.

I had the same experience. No Ketones after 4 days so I have had to cut out fruit and have three jello. Must be a formula. I does seem a little toughter second time around. Oh well one day at a time.
