If you're looking for an alternative to bread or pitas, these are for you. They are loaded with fibre and yet still tasty. Good as a wrap or a "pizza" base, you can also slice your serving into strips and use it to bulk up a soup. Or spray with PAM, sprinkle with garlic and onion powder and fry 'til crisp. Mmm. They freeze well, so I tend to keep them on hand for variety. I recommend cutting the tortillas into serving sizes and separating them with wax paper before you freeze them; that way you can just pull them out one at a time as you need them.

These wraps are a favourite of mine and I use them a lot on maintenance.  I wrap chopped boiled egg whites mixed with mustard, cucumber, and ff cream cheese; fried egg whites with tomato and allegro cheese; curried chicken; lean turkey and lettuce; grilled chicken strips, red peppers, and salsa...the variations are endless.... :)  I haven't had any trouble with pulling them apart - I keep several bags in the freezer, and keep the opened one in the fridge for quick lunches. I think the trick is not to put too much filling in it, or the wrap won't hold up

I dont like them too much.  I feel they have a bit of an aftertaste.  Good fibre content though

I really like these wraps.  They crisp up nicely on the Forman Grill.  I like making breakfast burritos with them.

I enjoy the wraps for a morning burrito; egg white, ff cheese and some salsa! YUM!  I need to be sure to drink lots of water after I eat them as they are full of fiber.

I think these are great if you want to go for wraps rather than bread - I do find the pita's more filling though.  They are great to use for homemade nachos - as Noma said, spray with Pam and make them crispy.  They you can have with your home made salsa/allowed salsa and allegro grated cheese...mmm mmm mmmmm....

I really like these wraps.  Back when I was on strict, I used these a lot (instead of bread) for sandwiches, tacos, etc.  They hold up really well (i.e. they aren't brittle like some), have a great flavor and texture, and the Dr. B portion allocation for them is good.  The only thing bad I can say about them is they do tend to want to stick to each other and separate when you pull them apart once you've kept them around for awhile.  Noma's tip of putting wax paper between them before storing is a good tip -- even if you don't freeze them.  I keep them in the "crisper" drawer of the fridge, and have used them months after their expiration date -- they really last forever.  A good "bread" choice.
