I don't find it great by itself but mixed with a fruit (i.e. apple), it's a little bit better. I'd still buy it again though.

I live on this stuff.  I love oatmeal already so this is the closest to it I can have while on the diet.  Diet direct sells it in a canister for 20.00 which has the equivalent of three of the boxes so I saved a bunch of money.

I eat at least one of these a day.  I use a packet when I make my protein shake (to thicken it and add protein and flavor), and just recently, I started adding a packet to my bowl of cereal in the morning.  It makes my "milk" (Almond Breeze) thick like a porridge or something and is very interesting.  I consider this particular product to be a "staple" for me and order it about 5 boxes at a time.

Not all the reviewed products are approved for the strict portion of the Dr. Bernstein diet; some are just for maintainers and some fall into a "gray area". You must check with your clinic before consuming a product that is not listed on the Dr. Bernstein Acceptable Food Lists. Also -- as food lists are updated periodically -- it is important to verify a product is still approved.
