BrianB I've been searching for an allowed pita now pretty much since the diet started (albeit half-heartedly). The desire to make a Dr. B legal pizza renewed my search. It looks like there are only a couple brands on the U.S. food list, but Toufayan is one of them. The good news is that most grocery stores carry the Toufayan pitas (you'll find them in the deli). The bad news is that most of them only carry a couple flavors, mostly the whole wheat, onion, and white (which aren't the ones we're allowed).

CarolP looks great Brian... For those of us out of Florida... I use a flat bread sprayed with Pam, fried in a cast iron skillet, then add salsa, cooked veggie's , pepperoni , and veggie cheese. I put it in the iron skillet under the broiler till browned. It makes a great pizza. |

BrianB Which pepperoni do you use Carol? The only one I see is on the list is the vegetarian. |

CarolP It is the vegetarian one Brian. I had it for lunch today. Very good and filling for sure. I use 12 pepperoni and veggie cheese slice over the top. |
