Surprisingly I don't remember if there was a shot at the consultation. The shots are small with a fine needle, so not to worry. There was an introductionto the diet program though.
You'll find the program goes well after the first couple of days adjustment.
Good Luck!

I think you do get a shot( not painful though !) and you listen for about an hour as someone goes thru everything with you ( and usually a few other new clients) You are also asked to start preparing for your diet by reducing certain things in your diet, Can't remeber much else...Best of Luck !!

I did get the shot at the first consult.

I want to also be honest with you......the DO sometimes hurt, but its only a stinging as the vitamin goes in.....it isn't the needle itself that hurts at all.

That said, I've had a number of injections that didn't hurt at all.  Its hit and miss.  But wanted to give you a heads up to just take a deep breath and know that this is a 'good thing' :)

Think about it - if it hurt that much, could we all really keep going back 3x week???  :D

Good luck!

Yep... you get a shot, a nurse goes over the program with you and you go over the medical profile thing you filled out. Not in that order. The shot would be last, I think. Oh! And you'll get your height and weight measured.

Don't be worried - be excited!  It's a fun journey and treat it as such.  An adventure with such a wonderful reward at the end!  You will leave there and say to yourself "I wasted a moment worrying about that????" and then you'll laugh.  They're not ogres, they are there to help you and just point out what you have to do - which you already know from this forum.  Enjoy!
