Once I finally felt comfortable trying my hand at restaurants on strict, Ruby Tuesday quickly became my favorite place to go.  For quite some time they had a special "low carb" menu, which is now gone sadly, but they still have several of the menu items.  They also have a salad bar with lots of plain veggies and that works great if you bring some Walden Farms dressing packets with you.

They are predominantly in the U.S., but their International Locations page does list one Canada location.

Here is a link to their home page.  And here's a link to their location finder.

For maintainers who might be watching their calories, or for those who are curious, they are one of the few (non fast-food) restaurants that have a decent nutrition guide covering their menu items.

Finally, here's their menu page.

If you're wondering what I usually ordered (and still frequently do), I get:

The "Creole Catch" (broiled tilapia) and tell them "no butter, oil, sauce, or seasoning -- just poach it in a pan or whatever you do to avoid using any oils".  For my side I get steamed broccoli (be sure to tell them steamed only, no butter, sauce, etc.), and I get a second side of broccoli instead of the rice pilaf topped with cheese and tomatoes.  Honestly I'm not sure how they cook the fish without using oil, but 95% of the time it comes out perfect (albeit sometimes a bit wet).  A couple times it came out under-done in the center, but I'm guessing they must have had to thaw a filet and it just didn't get all the way done.

Then I hit the salad bar, get some lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and zucchini strips, and top it with a packet of Walden Farms dressing.

Great Dr. B legal meal.  Be sure to adjust the portion of how much of the fish you eat to comply with your protein limits and spacing for the day.
