So my husband bought me a box of the allowable M&M turkey and I have no idea what to do with it -- anyone have any yummy/ easy suggestions?

Hi there,

I bought a box myself and wasn't too sure what to do with it either, but I'm thinking I will defrost some and use a meat grinder to make turkey meatballs (a recipe under Won ton soup here on the forum)... just have to find a meat grinder now!!

if you come up with something else let me know but I'm going to cook with them the same I would chicken...

Take care...

Jojo

I read somewhere that you can try having turkey with strawberry jello (or another light flavour i guess) instead of cranberry sauce.  I don't really like turkey so no more ideas!  Sorry!

I had turkey last night. Wasn't in the mood for too much fussing so I just smeared it with a teaspoon of Patak's Tandoori paste and baked it at 350 for 15 minutes surrounded by broccoli and cauliflower. I had tossed the vegetables in another teaspoon of Patak's and some lemon juice before baking. It was pretty good for a quick meal that took less than 20 minutes for prep and cooking.

oh I love turkey - I actually will do turkey with Dr. B freindly stir-fry (so slicing it up and cooking it in water and a little bit of soya sauce) then adding my veggies in with it all - YUM!

I also will shove a couple turkey breasts in the crock pot before I go to work and add a little bit of salsa (the allowed kind of course), and spices.  Then when I get home I will make myself us mexican turkey wraps for dinner.

turkey is great substituted into a chili (see veal chili in cookbook)
i also like to cook it in a frypan (covered withn a bit of water and emeril's essence), ccoked slowly and then slice up on a good salad.
