BrianB I don't know about the rest of you, but when I come here, the first thing I do is click "New Posts" so I can see what's new. Also, to "get here", I always just type www.drbforums.com in my browser (as opposed to using a bookmark, etc.).
|
Ada Beautiful ! Love it as I always do the New Posts click as well. Hope other like it too ! I put a shortcut on my desktop and works perfectly to get to the new posts.

DaveD Brilliant! | ||

bri070102 I think it's great! Maybe I should re-do my bookmark for the site so I get new posts automatically instead of clicking on it. That's the first thing I look at too.

How do you do a "remember my logon details" (i.e. set the forum cookies) if you haven't already done so? I like your change, Brian -- I always go right to "new posts".
|
Ada Hi Carol....to do that, log out and when you log back in, under the box where you put in your password you will see a section titled "options". Make sure the "yes" box is ticked to the question whether you want to be remembered the next time you enter the site. That will set the cookie on your computer once you log in again....and then all subsequent times you enter the site you will get directed to the New Posts page. It's a great convenience. |
