Serving size: 25 g, Calories: 90, Protein: 8 g, Total Fat: 1 g, Total Carbohydrates: 14 g, Dietary Fiber: 1 g, Sugars: 6 g

A cinnamon flavoured mix of chex-like hexagons, flakes and puffs made from oats, corn, rice, soy and wheat, these make for a tasty breakfast or snack. I do like them, especially as I don't always want 15 g of protein at breakfast, but then I thought to compare the nutritionals and price of this cereal to Kashi's GoLean High Protein/High Fiber Cereal. I was surprised.

At the same serving size, Kashi's numbers are better in my opinion: calories 67, fat less than 0.5 g, carbs 14.4 g, fiber 4.8 g, sugars 2.9, protein 6.25 g. And the cost difference (plus convenience of purchasing) is hard to ignore. The price for 7 servings of Cinnamon Crisp is US$9.99 through DietDirect, which works out to a cost of $1.43/serving. A 400g box of Kashi GoLean cost me about US$3.00 at a Super Walmart. Using the 25g serving size, that's 16 servings for a cost of $0.19/serving.

Because of these factors I had to drop my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars.

The texture and flavor of this cereal is excellent.  The volume however is pretty small.  I nearly never eat this by itself, but instead usually add it with a packet of the Honey Nut cereal (and/or others) as the flavor is so good it improves the whole bowl with it's presence.

If you do eat it by itself, do not follow the directions and add a half cup of milk to it.  A quarter cup is more than enough -- any more and you'll drown it.

Very tastey yes.   Agree with all the above comments.  I prefer the bigger bang for caloric buck one gets with the Protidiet Honey Nut Cereal at 100 cals., 5 gms. carbs.,  2gms fiber and 15 gms protein.

I don't eat much cereal but this one I enjoyed. I found the amount was fine. Had an apple with it and I was satisfied.

I gave this cereal 4 stars.  I enjoyed the taste, and texture, and most importantly, I enjoyed the fact that it was the first cereal I have eaten in 11 weeks.  That being said - SMALL portions, and quite pricey.  I have two boxes (1 was free), which I will happily finish, but probably won't buy it again, based on portion size and price.
