Winterjade, good for you! That is so exciting to be going on maintenance.
I'm down 3 lbs since Friday, but the doc said I need to drink more water. MORE water? God, I pee about 500X per day, so I guess I will be going 550 times per day now.
Whatever it takes.

HI Everyone,
I'm down .6 from Friday. They took away my fruits until Wednesday. Is this a normal thing they do?

WINTERJADE!!!! WOOHOO!!!
Aluzio - If you aren't in ketosis then yes, it is protocol to take away your fruit to get you burning. Hope you dont miss them too much, sometimes they let you add a jello - ask.
I couldn't get to the clinic on friday so am down 1.4 since Wednesday, not too impressive but down is down so I will smile and be hopeful for this Wednesday! My short term goal is 145 by next Friday, Oct 10.....I leave for a Caribbean cruise on Oct 12th so very hopeful!!! And VERY excited!!

It depends. Were you negative on your ketones? They will do that to get you back to burning.
The same thing happened to me. I am down 0.6 and negative. No fruits until at least Wednesday.

Well she told me that I was burning but "lightly". She said last week I was burning higher. I guess we'll see what happens on Wednesday.

Winterjade -- that must be an awesome feeling!
I'm down .8 since Friday -- not great (particularly since I was wearing heavy jeans Friday), but I'll take it!

Down 2lbs from Friday, I am thrilled that the diet still works as well for me as it did last time. Unfortunatley I am at work and can't get in to change my ticker, I will have to do that when I get home tonight.

Thanks everyone and yes it has been a long haul of ups and downs, but I feel great and rearing to go! I am trying to come up with all my maintenance questions so I am ready for wednesday's consultation.
One is and maybe you guys can help...
The nurse said today that if I go on maintenance and gain weight until I am above 140 I will have to go back on strict, but what if it is muscle gain? I know it take a while to build muscle but I think this should be taken into account as well as if my weight goes up but my waist/hips go down I should be able to continue on maintenance, right?

Hi Winterjade,
Way to go on reaching maintenance!!! It is a nice feeling once you know you've hit that milestone. And sometimes I'm still surprised that I'm able to eat more food Got so used to those little portions that sometimes I'm stunned when I can eat spaghetti plus my bread portions plus veggies.... Good question about the muscle gain. I guess everyone is different but even when I was doing serious resistance/weight training -- my weight stayed steady because I was gaining muscle but losing fat and I didn't increase my food intake. This time around, I'm focusing more on cardio (family history of heart problems so I want that muscle to be well-worked) and more on just resistance as opposed to heavy-duty muscle-building. I'd be interested in finding out what answer they tell you.
Congrats again!!

I find the weekends we burn less for some reason.... I am getting a little frustrated I wish they were open on at least 1 day... sat or sun.. it would help us fall less of the track.. any ideas... I stayed the same
