Hi everyone, hope your weeks are going well. I haven't checked in here for a while, but I'm still following maintenance.
My weight in this week was down. I find it really helps me to know i have to weight i once a week.
Since losing the weight & getting my back & hips fixed, i am back running and doing the Grouse grind again. These have really helped me keep the weight off. Well hope everyone else is doing well.

Great work Overtime 101!!  I've been maintaining my current weight now for a few weeks and still loving the feeling of fitting into all my old clothes.  I find that by following the Dr. B meal plan coupled with DailyPlate.com really helps me stay on track and keep myself at this weight.

When starting into the maintenance phase I was pretty scared of gaining weight but am happy to report that at my weigh-in on Tuesday I was at 115.8 lbs and was allowed to progress to week 4 of maintenance.  If I ever figure out how, I'll post before and after pictures someday because I'm proud of the new 'old me'.  Brian, your picture is terrific. My youngest daughter who does not ever remember me as thin refers to me as "Disappearing Mom".  My LDL cholesterol has gone down a little, HDL has gone up a little, blood sugar is now normal, haven't had any back pain for months and I can go for daily brisk walks and not get short of breath.  I've been reading the posts of others under the various topic headings and am wishing you all success with your diet goals.  When I started I never thought I would get this far and during the process felt discouraged many times.  If I'd discovered this forum sooner it would have helped me a lot in the diet phase, as I have a much greater understanding of the diet now, from all your posts.  To all those who are just starting, this diet is great!  Be very wary of negative comments about the diet, they tend to be inaccurate and uninformed.  There is information and solutions (especially through this forum) for any and all problems you may encounter.

Congrats Angela!!  Way to go....  welcome to the rest of your life.  I find that I am very conscious of what I eat and that I make better choices than I used to.  Also, when people make negatives comments about Dr. B -- I always fire back with -- lots of vegetables, controlled portions of protein and whole grains -- tell me again what's wrong with the diet??

Keep up the great work.

Good job, everyone! I haven't posted lately, I've been really busy both at work and at home.

My weight is pretty much the same - hovers around 129 lbs; I am exercising 3x/week, still doing weights and a little bit of cardio. Don't get me wrong, when I say weights it's usually 3lbs or 5lbs, rarely 8lbs, but it looks like it's good for me since recently quite a few people were telling me that it looks like I am still losing weight! And yes, I am noticing that my body is still changing shape a little bit, adapting to more muscles and less fat :D

Way to go Jelena!!  I've been maintaining now for a bit -- and really there is only ever about a pound fluctuation and that is very easily due to liquids and retention --- gotta love the hormones!!
