I noticed in another thread awhile ago that the Edmonton Support group was thinking of meeting on Tuesday Nov 21. Is that still happening this week?
It would be nice to get together with some of you seasoned pro's so you could share some of your tips for us newbies!

I don't think we ever decided on a day or even if there was enough interest .. Tuesday's are out for me but Wednesday's or Thursday's would work .. I know Laura had said that she would open her home in St. Albert to us as long as we left at a reasonable time and didn't require a sleep over (her husband would frown on that) 
.. we could also use the boardroom at my office on 146 Street and Yellowhead Trail if everyone would feel more comfortable at a neutral location instead of someone's home.

Roland - haven't you been receiving my PMs? I've sent two asking if we could nail down a date. I think something is wrong with my account...Brian didn't get one of my PMs either.
Anyways, it's too late for this week. What about Thursday next? We could plan it for the last Thursday of the month. I think I'd rather meet at your office, I'm on my own in the evenings and it's hard to get the kids to bed and staying in bed when people are here.

Laura, send me a PM and check the "Get notified when message is read" box. Post here right after you've hit "Send Message" and if I don't get the PM I'll check the database. There is nothing that should be able to keep you from sending a PM.

Hey Laura, no I haven't received any PM's from you .. Brian my inbox has also lost about half of my messages ..

Roland, the system automatically purges PM's that are more than 30 days old. Is that what you're seeing?

Just chatted with Laura about the PMs and wanted to pass this along for any others who might benefit. If you try to send a PM with no subject line, it won't go through and you'll get a message that says a subject line is needed. The message is small and easy to overlook, so watch for it, and if you get it, you have to go back and add a subject line and hit send.

Next Thursday would work for me.. I wouldn't be available until around 7pm though. I'll keep an eye on this to see if it will be a go for sure!

Boy, I wish there was a Kingston support group. I've never seen anyone else from Kingston on here so I'm afraid I'd only be supporting myself!! You guys are very lucky to have the community of support that you have. Good luck with it!!
