Hello! I am just starting Dr.B's Diet, coming up on October 30th. I was just wondering if there was any tips or advice to help out a newbie like myself.  :sad2:

Hey Dangerous Curves,

Congrats for taking the challenge and starting on the program.  Search through the different posts and subjects and you will learn all the details you need to know.  I was terrified when I first started and these forums have really made all the difference!

Good Luck,

Sara

Hi there !  Welcome to the forum.  My best advice would be for you to spend time on the boards reading, reading, reading.  There is a wealth of information here to make you feel more at ease once you start the program.  And prepare to be wowed because you are in for an awesome experience and an amazing journey.  This diet works in a way that few of us could possibly imagine....and even I, who was considered to be a very slow loser, managed to get results I could never hope for even in my wildest dreams.

Should you ever need help or support just say the word.  That is what we are all here for......for each other.  :D

Welcome Dangerous Curves!

The only advice I would add -- is stick to the diet like glue -- don't cheat and come here for encouragement whenever you feel stuck.  And also come here so that we can cheer you on.... Also look at this diet as a change-your-lifestyle-forever choice and not just a temporary fix -- this will make it easier you to keep the new slimmer you for life.

Welcome! :)

I second NPacheco's sentiment - do not stray from the diet one little bit. It will be so much easier on you if you don't, and your loss will be at it's maximum for your body. Definitely read all the FAQs and other posts and you'll be all set to go. I bet you soon you'll even know more than the nurses! lol :)

Welcome Kins !  All the best on this amazing journey !  In addition to *read read read* and *stay 100% strict* , I would add *be prepared* with healthy allowable ready (or almost ready) to eat foods.  You can get alot of tips in the forum on food preparation to make this diet a lot easier.

Bravo for the big step you are taking.  This diet will wow you for sure!  :D

Hiya dangerouscurves. I am in Edmonton  too re-starting...:(
We almost have the same amount to loose. So here we go!
Brave you one day before halloween!
I just wanted to add that Sweet tweat is a must for dr b patients
She has all the flavored syrupes we are allowed, she has the pancakes, the walden stuff and the wraps and pita's
All of us in Edmonton should get together and go for coffee.
