My weight was exactly the same today as Friday I expected to be down at least something as I drank enough water to float a boat on the weekend but nope. I was however up sick most of Saturday night & then only managed to get in about 1/2 a protien all day yesterday. I was burning well this morning so the no loss is most likely just my body revolting for me not eating and hanging on to what little it got ... that's my theory and sticking to it anyway while I hope for a better Wednesday.
I did my little MU experiment for the nurses again today and took in two ... +1 on first MU and +4 on MU right before I left for clinic - proving my point once again that my first one in the morning is too diluted with water to show ketones. It has now been changed on my chart that I am to bring in my 2nd MU.
Good luck all on your weigh ins !!!

Hi All.
I figure I better start posting instead of lurking like I always do. I am so glad this site is back on.
I am down 4 since Friday. I pre planned all of my meals last week and I found that it really helped me. Takes the guess work out of things.
My goal is 170 by the end of Oct. fingers crossed.
I am not paying much attention to the scale or food and I am just following the diet day by day and see where it takes me in a month.
I feel great. Thanks to all who post on this site. You are all motivating and a great support.

Morning! I'm down 3.6 over the weekend, a change from last weekend only down 0.4 then. However, my sub-conscious mind was playing tricks on me, as I was dreaming that I had some chips and booze! I don't crave either of those at this time, so I was surprised! It felt real, though, and I had to reassure myself that it was only a dream! Does this happen to anyone else?
It's so nice to see Michelle and Paula persevering and maintaining such positive attitudes - you gals are inspiring. Johanna, wicked weight loss. I have no doubt you will reach your goal!
TTFN,
Michaelah

Im down a pound since friday. The nurse photocopied my diet sheet and is going to examine it later today because im literally up a pound one weigh in and then next down a pound. I"ve been like that for a few weeks. So im staying in the exact same range and am still trying to stay motivated to stick it out. Im leaving for HOuston in 24 days and really want to lose another 10

Up 2.4 today. I'm a little discouraged, but I realize I'm retaining water (thanks to hormones). I hate almost nothing this weekend because I was so busy. The nurse said that can actually make me retain more water - I would have been better to eat all that I was allowed.

I'm back after a major eating crazy frenzy (I went to Vegas) came home and just continued to eat.
I'm all the way back to 217.8
I know that a lot of this is water weight as my rings are tight, so I am anxious to see were I am at the end of the week! I feel relieved to be back on track.

Welcome back Tammy! It happens to the best of us! I am going there in a little over a month ... right about the time I should be back to maintenance weight so you are scaring me though! LOL I'd better make sure I'm very busy so I don't even look at the food!!!

For some reason when you eat at those buffets you feel that you REALLY need to get your money's worth.......especially when you have lost all your money at the tables.
The food was amazing.

Thankfully the friend I am going with is a dieter too so maybe we'll just avoid those buffets!!!!

I am down 1.2lbs over the weekend after a rather dismal result from last week (only down 1lb from Monday to Friday). However, I was away for most of last week so some weight loss, despite being low, is all good.
Thanks Shannon!

Hi everyone
I'm down 2.5. Michelle: I had the same result when I tested my first MU and then my second. I always just trace or get kicked out of ketosis. I was burning at the next level when I tested my second. Your theory works.

Hi all,
Down 1 over the weekend, which was a surprise. My scale at home didn't show any loss. I was down 5 in my first week, which was great, but I don't expect it to continue. I have my fingers crossed that I can be in maintenance by first week of Oct.
PS I always find that if I drink more that 8 - 10 liquids a day I stop showing ketones. So I keep it in that range.
Great work everyone!
