Hi,

I just got back on the diet a week ago. I have occasional loose motion bowels.  I am taking K-lyte. Has anyone ever experience this? I get a loose motion every other day. Previously, when I was on the diet I never had this problem.

Is it something to be worried about? I read up on K-lyte side effects and it said it could cause mild diarrhea.

It has happened to me...then it all settles down...i found that if i was drinking more water and ate oranges it would happen more often...monitor what you eat and are drinking...you just might be able to tie it to something...

Yes, it happened to me until they switched my potassium.  I was on MicroK, I think and I swtiched to K-Lyte.  It took a few months for me to get back to normal.

I definitely recall some posts saying this was their situation in the first week to 10 days.  It seems to resolve itself in the first while for most.  As said above, there may be something you can pinpoint and I would definitely discuss it with the clinic to be sure you cover all bases.  Good luck ! :)
