I use a natural liquid sweetner called "nature sweet". it's a stevia extract. This took a bit to get used to but I don't like consuming too many chemicals and way too many of the recommended products have the sucralose and aspertame in them. I'm not a hippy, granola muncher but I do recommend that if you haven't yet, give it a try!

What do you use?

I use Splenda tablets.  I'm working on getting liquid Splenda which will be even better.  "Made from sugar tastes like sugar" and it does.  It's sugar with an extra chlorine atom on it.  That doesn't worry me.  Heck, salt is an explosive metal with a chlorine atom on it.   :D

I use the liquid Sugar Twin. I also use the tablet Equal. I don't have a preference, but I can drizzle the liquid on my apples, and I feel like I am having dessert.

I use Equal tablets and Hermasetas.  I really miss powdered Splenda and am keeping an eye out for it in tablet or liquid form.  May have to drive down to the US for that.

We don't have liquid or tablet Splenda here either.  That said, I've been using tablet Splenda for awhile now (bought from Australia or Britain), and have recently switched to liquid.  The liquid is much much much better -- especially for making Kool Aid with.  Even the tablets contributed too much "texture" to Kool Aid.  The liquid is awesome.  I'm going to start another topic with a poll about where to get this stuff.

Edited to add:

New topic and poll is posted now, here.

I use the twin powder ( I have a Tim Hortons tea every day   with two twin) I'm losing so they said not to worry about it.

I have been great about staying away from the powders the entire time I've been on the diet.  I've always kept a pkg of equal tablets in my coat pocket but last weekend I was out, had run out of the tablets at work so left my 'coat pocket' tablets in my desk and resorted to a sugar twin at Tim Horton's.  I admitted this at the clinic on Monday morning.  I had my favorite nurse and she didn't give me crap because she knows how good I usually am however, I was a little surprised to hear about from the Dr. on Wednesday! :D Even though the nurse didn't give me crap she did write it on my chart!

Just a follow up...and everyone may know this already...I picked up Splenda tablets from a grocery store in Arizona.  I don't know if they are available in the States, but I have not seen them in BC.

Interesting you should mention that.   I actually looked in Publix and Walgreens when in Florida, without any success in those stores I was in.  Actually, I have just recently order some on Netrition.com and am still waiting for the order.  I don't know whether I will find any difference between the Splenda tabs and Equal tabs I have been using for hot beverages but it will be interesting to see.

Do you find any difference Momof4?
