I know I can get them on-line but I would like to avoid that.  I check out T&T - Country Hills (they have never heard of them - even took picture in with me).

So does anyone know of a store in Calgary that carries them?

There was an Asian grocery store that carried them, but I don't see them in the phone book anymore.  I have not really investigated too thouroughly to see if they are still around though.  The name was Airang (spell?) and they were on 10th Avenue I believe.  I will try and do some more looking into it.  Have you tried phoning any of the Asian grocery stores on 17th Avenue S.E., it is supposedly called international avenue so it is pretty likely you will find them there.  I would let your fingers do the walking though because it may take a while.  I think I remember someone posting that the T&T in Franklin mall had them but I'm not positive on that.  Good Luck and I'll post if I find them.

I've been looking for shirataki noodles all over Calgary as well, and I've struck out too.  I havn't been to the T&T in the NE as I live real close to the one in Harvest Hills.  Maybe I'll try this weekend.

I'd love to at least try these noodles as I'm really getting board with what I'm eating.  If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Save yourself the aggravation and order from www.thelowcarbgrocery.com   They carry all the Walden products too so you can pick up some of those at the same time and make it worthwhile.

I have been successful at finding Shiritaki noodles locally but they are a knock off and not nearly as good as the ones that The Low Carb Grocery carries.  So even though I can get them around the corner from home, I'm back to ordering on line.  I love the fettucine shaped noodles ... there's more substance too them and they actually stay like noodles (not all mushy) when I throw a pkg. in a pot of soup and cook it all night in the crock pot.
